Honeywell’s 5809 wireless fixed heat detectors are sophisticated sensors that offers extended fire detection. This sensor is great for hard to wire locations in areas that need more than just smoke detection. The heat sensor combines both rate-of-rise and fixed temperature sensors. Fires generally cause a fast rise in temperature in the surrounding ground this device can signal your alarm if the temperarture rises i 15° or more per minute. A built-in fixed temperature sensor will in addition signal an alarm if the environmental temperature rises above 135°F. This product is UL Listed (UL521) and CSFM authorized for residential / home applications.
